Charming Townhouse - Walk Everywhere!

Terrific spot to enjoy the highlights of beautiful Bergen. Would definitely stay there again. Positive: Great location - it is actually walking distance from the Funicular and tourist areas of Bergen. Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the laundry. Negative: It would not be suitable for persons with physical limitations as there are very steep stairs. We were ok and could manage though.

Positive: Great location, very clean and tidy. Lovely decor that has been updated since the pictures. Very comfortable beds. Negative: The stairs are extremely steep and difficult with suitcases. The shower is small and may not be suitable for some.

Nicely designed apartment in a charming old house, close to everything Positive: The area is super-nice, older wooden houses and cobble-stone covered pedestrian streets only a few minutes walking distance from the center. The apartment is nicely designed and big enough for 6 people. Our teenage kids loved the cool upstairs room. Negative: One bathroom for 6 people is a bit less than optimal. Also a small disappointment that there was no microwave oven in the kitchen, which was otherwise well equipped. The shader on the roof window of the upstairs room should be fixed, it barely works. The stairs are quite uncomfortable for older people.
