Great stay close to Bergen centre Positive: The apartment was very clean and had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Although the only contact with our host Ole was through the Booking.com app, it was pleasant, quick and friendly. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family of four. The apartment is close to the city centre, about 15 minutes walking or 5 minutes by bus and the free parking was convenient. It's also close to a main road so driving out of the city is easy, great for day trips away from Bergen. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay! Negative: The immediate area around the apartment is pretty empty, there are no restaurants, cafes or shops within a short walking distance so you'll have to travel a bit for that. Also, the neighbourhood feels a bit blighted and squalid. It's not too bad and not something you notice from the apartment but something to be aware of. Also, be aware that you are renting an apartment, not the entire house depicted in the photos.

Positive: Although the accommodation is close to a major road, it is a completely peaceful and quiet place. That was a big and nice surprise. Parking on the private property is great. Communication with the owner was perfect.

Not worth if you have luggage and old parents Negative: There is nowhere mentioned on booking website that property in on 1st floor. That is a breach of trust by hiding imp information. We were with Parents and luggage was it was a nightmare managing it. Wifi was pathetic. It was only working in living room where thr is a router. To our surprise there was no shower gel and when we informed owner Ole, she was like we don't provide that. They had all the things in the apartment but no shower gel. If it was mentioned on the site, we would have not booked it in the first go as my mother has difficultly climbing stairs. In the image you are showing big bunglow type property without mentioning that it is on first floor with no elevator. There are around 20 difficult steps.

Very spacious accommodation close to the city center Positive: The accommodation was spacious and relatively close to the city center, which was about a 10–15 minute walk away. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with everything needed. We had a minor issue with the bed, but the hosts responded very promptly and came to fix the problem right away. Negative: Perhaps the only downside was the limited Wi-Fi coverage in the rooms.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Bergen sans avoir à utiliser la voiture ou les transports en commun. Positive: Etre hébergés dans une belle bâtisse typiquement norvégienne; l'espace de vie offert dans l'appartement; la mise à disposition d'un emplacement pour le stationnement de la voiture; la proximité de l'hébergement du centre-ville et des sites principaux à visiter (à pied). Negative: l'environnement bruyant de l'appartement : proche des docks et du port maritime et des axes routiers trés fréquentés.
