The worst accomodation experience I have ever had Positive: Die Lage Negative: This was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. We were unable to shower during our entire two-day stay. The shower was dirty and full of hair when we arrived and the drain was so badly clogged that the water remained standing in the shower instead of draining away. We contacted the host, but nothing was done to solve the problem while we were there. In the end, my husband had to get down on his knees, clean the shower himself and pull a large amount of old hair and dirt out of the drain. It was absolutely disgusting. Even after doing this, the water still did not drain properly, so we did not shower during our two-day stay. Spending two days in a paid accommodation without being able to shower is simply unacceptable. We have photos documenting exactly what we found. Unfortunately, the shower was not the only problem. The sofa was so dirty and stained that I did not want to sit on it. A table had its edging coming off, and in the bathroom what appeared to be a bedsheet or duvet cover had been hung over the window instead of a proper curtain. The stairs leading up from the kitchen are extremely steep and I found going downstairs particularly difficult and unsafe. We were also unable to use the induction hob. There were no instructions and after trying for about 20 minutes, we gave up. We contacted the host several times about the shower, but it was not fixed during our stay. Eventually we were told it would be fixed the following day, when we would already have left. We were then offered a 10% discount on a future stay. After this experience, we obviously have no intention of ever returning, so this offer was of no use to us. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many hotels and apartments, but this was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. I would never stay here again and cannot recommend this apartment. The photos document the condition in which we found it.

Great stay in stunning Norway Positive: Brilliant location. Very clean. Nice layout over two levels. Right next to a coffee shop. Very helpful host. Negative: Steep stairs up the the apartment entrance, fine for most people.

Blick über Bergens Dächer Positive: Charmante Wohnung im alten Teil Bergens, nahe der Einkaufsstrasse und dem Hafen. Alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Sehr schön eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, sehr nette Sofa Ecke im oberen Geschoss. Negative: Die Küche könnte man etwas mehr ausstatten, damit das Kochen noch einfacher wird.

Muy buena ubicación, dueños muy amables. Camas muy cómodas. Repetiría sin duda! Positive: La ubicación y los dueños, muy amables en todo momento. Muy fácil la llegada, todo estaba limpio y preparado. Negative: Quizás la ducha del baño, un poco pequeña, pero suficiente, por poner algo….
