Unique gem overlooking the world famous Bryggen

Positive: Very nice view of the city

Pros and Cons overall a great location Positive: It was large, and apt was in an extremely convenient location. All was clean, I thought beds were fine, washer/dryer is a hybrid and requires some knowledge on how to operate. The dryer is unventilated so you must empty the water from a water holding tank prior to drying clothes and drying clothes takes much longer. Negative: I found it quite inconvenient to locate the lock key box that holds the FOB for the ground floor of the apartment complex. If you’re traveling alone with luggage, you have to carry your bags down the street and up a steep incline to find this dimly lit lock box. Once you’ve entered the code, you’ll need to hump the FOB back to your apartment. Then, you enter the lobby area and take the elevator to your unit. I wish this part of the process was better communicated beforehand and streamlined. The elevator worked, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a good experience, but there were only a couple of small towels for after showers. There should be a few more for a two-bedroom apartment.

Stunning view, comfortable bed. Positive: The view was stunning and there was lots of space. Comfortable bed Negative: There was supposed to be an iron and ironing board, but there was not one in the house. We were told to look harder but it still did not appear. Later in the morning an iron was brought round, but no ironing board. The facilities also listed a fireplace but there wasn't one.
